My Pinterest dream home

Hi sweeties,

For about 6 months my husband Aly and I have been planning the design of our future dream home. We have decided to spend the rest of our family life (after my husband’s football carrier is finished; in about 5 or 6 more years) in Belgium. I was gifted a very nice building lot right next to my parents’ house by my grandparents, just like my sister. I know right, how lucky are we? And even though we might only permanently live here in about 5 or 6 years, we do already want to have our house built and finished in a couple of years to be able to spend the off-season in our own home in stead of always having to rely on my parents while in Belgium. So, that’s when I e-mailed our architect and he’s working on our first plan as we speak. Continue reading

The perfect Mother’s Day gift ♥

Hi sweeties,

Hands up if you’re guilty of forgetting the exact date of Mother’s Day once in a while. Well, this time I will make sure you will remember. Make this 13th of May a day to remember with your mom or with your baby mama. Yes daddies, pay attention because if your child is still too young to buy their mommy a present, you should do it.

This will be my second Mother’s Day since Lily is now almost 1 year and one month old but it’ll be the first one that we can really celebrate it.

Spring is in town

Hi sweeties,

I’m sure you’ve seen it too; spring is in town! It was a sunny day in Vancouver (probably the last one for a while ) so we decided to go out. Today was the last day of the 5-day Play-dome in BC Place so that’s where we went first. Not that we were planning on going on any of the rides but hey, who needs more than cotton candy and candy apples?
