Hi Sweeties,
Here I am again with another Pixi Beauty review. This time I received a super cool box with some products of their Skintreats – love the skin you’re in collection. The 5 products I got to try out are the Pixi Peel & Polish, Pixi T-Zone Peel Off Mask, Pixi Glow Mud Mask, Pixi DetoxifEYE Eye Patches and the Pixi GLOW Glycolic Boost Sheet Mask. The box also included a little white towel.
Pixi Peel & Polish
This is a peel especially made to make your skin smoother and softer and it’ll give you an instant glow.
How to apply:
• Use: In the AM and or PM 2-3 times per week
• Step 1: Apply to dry face and neck
• Step 2: Leave for 2 min to let the enzymes activate
• Step 3: Rinse off an d pat dry
• Step 4: For a more intense polish effect using your fingertips, gently massage face and neck in a circular motion
This peel will make your skin feel and look better after the first use. That’s what I love about so many of their products, they work so well for your skin and they’re all cruelty and paraben free!
Pixi T-Zone Peel Off Mask
A mask that everyone needs! You all know I used to have a super oily skin (which already got better thanks to the GlowTonic btw) but for those who still have problems in the T-zone, you should definitely try this mask. It’s made of superfoods like avocado and green tea to help firm and refine your skin.
How to apply:
•Use 1-2 times a week or as needed.
•Apply a thick even layer to T-Zone only.
•Leave on until completely dry then gently peel off.
•Avoid eye area, eyebrows, hairline and lips.
•Do not use on skin that is irritated, broken or sunburned.
I’d totally recommend to use this mask in combination with the GlowTonic. You’re oily skin will no longer have enlarged pores and blackheads and your skin will feel/look 10 times better.
Pixi Glow Mud Mask
Any cream or mask with mud in it gets my attention immediately. This mask kind of works like the T-zone mask but this one is ment for your whole face and has to be left on the skin for 15 minutes. It fights breakouts, clarifies your skin etc.
How to apply:
• Use: In the PM 2 to 3 times per week or as a spot treatment when needed
• Step 1: Apply a thin, even layer to clean skin, avoiding eye area
• Step 2: Leave on for 15 minutes
• Step 3: Rinse off thoroughly and pat dry
• For best results, follow with Glow Tonic
Normally I’m not a big fan of masks; I’ve tried many in the past but never saw real results besides my skin feeling smoother just right after. But you guys, this mask really does what it says.
Pixi DetoxifEYE Eye Patches
To be honest I have not tried these eye patches yet since I don’t really have dark circles under my eyes. So what I’ll be saying next is based on other people’s opinions so you can decide for yourself if you should try it or not. These patches contain caffeine and Hyaluronic acid which will help you with dark circles under your eyes.
How to apply:
•Use enclosed spatula to gently lift and separate each patch.
•Apply onto clean, dry under-eye area with the thickest part at the outer corner.
•Repeat on the other side. Leave on for 10 min. and discard after use.
•Gently pat remaining serum into skin. Do not wash off.
•Use daily, or as often as needed.
•Use chilled for extra depuffing effect.
What other people say about this product: sticks onto skin very well, noticeable result after 1 use, reduce puffiness, …
Pixi GLOW Glycolic Boost sheet mask
A mask made of a serum mixed with herbal extracts to improve the health of your skin… I’m not the biggest fan of these kinds of masks normally. I always had the idea that creams were way more efficient than sheet masks because a cream really gets into your skin.
How to apply:
• After cleansing, place sheet mask onto face and pat into contours to fit snuggly.
• Leave on for 10-15 minutes.
• Remove mask & pat in excess serum to face, neck & décolletage.
• Store in fridge for a refreshing and depuffing effect.
What I like about this sheet mask is that it really does make your face feel hydrated and the result stays. It’s a perfect mask for every skin type .
XOXO
