I’m so sorry for the lack of posts lately, but as some of you may know, our chapter in Vancouver is over and we’re currently staying in Porto.
In the last couple of months I have received some AMAZING packages from Pixi Beauty which I really wanted to show you guys. I do have to say that I did not have the time to try all of the products so with some of the products I will only talk about what it is in stead of also sharing my opinion about it.
Glow Tonic
The first package included the award winning Glow Tonic. It’s no secret why this product won an award at the 2017 Teen Vogue Acne Awards; after just a couple of day’s use I could already see a big difference in my face. The big pores that were always visible on my nose and cheeks suddenly disappeared. I honestly could not believe the tonic showed results that fast. This tonic can be used for all skin types and it helps tone, firm and tighten the skin. It removes dead skin cells for healthier looking skin.
PixiGlow Cake
And there it was, another Pixi Beauty package in the mail! This time I had the chance to try out the PixiGlow Cake palettes. These products were definitely a first for me since I normally never use foundation, contouring, highlighters etc. The two shades are ‘GildedBare Glow’ and ‘PinkChampagne Glow’. Would you believe me if I say that I use the first one practically every time I leave the apartment now? I prefer that one since it has a browner tint and it just gives my cheeks that extra sparkle (idk if that’s the right way to explain it, but it’s just great).
Ultra Luxe Rose-Infused Skintreats
Wow, this time Pixi really brought out the big guns! I was so excited for this one, just from the way they presented it; in a beautiful travel bag. The travel bag contained the ‘Ultra Luxe Rose-Infused Skintreats’ set. This collection consists of 9 different products: rose cream cleanser, rose caviar essence, rose ceramide cream, rose flash balm, makeup melting cleansing wipes, makeup fixing mist, rose oil blend, rose tonic and the rose glow mist.
Rose Cream Cleanser
If I’m totally being honest with you guys, I never used the right products for my face or I wouldn’t follow all the steps that you’re supposed to follow, which means I almost never used a cleanser for my face. I would apply a serum and some day cream and that’s it, so I was quite happy to give this one a try. I was pleasantly surprised because this cleanser has a pleasant feel to it (at least to me it does) and it’s super easy to apply and wash off.
What does it do exactly → it’s a nourishing cream cleanser with mineral rich mud cleanses skin as it helps strengthen & soften skin.
Rose Caviar Essence
YES, a facial serum! One of my new favorite skincare products. I apply this serum on my face every morning and my face stays hydrated all day long.
What does it do exactly → delivers fresh botanicals to nourish and hydrate, restoring skin’s brightness for immediate and long term radiance.
Rose Ceramide Cream
This is one of the products that I have not tried out yet because it’s meant for people with dry skin and I have a very oily skin so I was afraid to make my skin worse with this product. I do have to admit that the smell of this cream is amazing, just like all the other rose infused products.
What does it do exactly → this ultra-rich cream is infused with Ceramides and Rose Oil to deeply hydrate the skin for a healthier, more supple appearance and feel.
Rose Flash Balm
Girls, if you have a dry skin, please do not use this product. I made the mistake of applying it after the serum and the next day my face felt so oily and I had lots of pimples. Maybe your skin will react differently but I will not use this product again.
What does it do exactly → 3-in-1, oil-free, quick absorbing formula instantly moisturizes and brightens and is great as a revitalizing mask as well as a primer to prep skin for perfect makeup application.
Makeup Melting Cleansing Wipes
Another one of my favorite products. I use makeup removal wipes on a daily basis and these ones fit right into my purse. Your makeup will come of easily and your face will smell great.
Makeup Fixing Mist
I have never used a makeup fixing mist so I have no product to compare this one to, but I am quite satisfied with this product. This mist is infused with rose water and green tea which is very soothing for your skin and it doesn’t make your face feel sticky or anything, just super fresh.
What does it do exactly → prolongs makeup wear and keeps it from moving, melting, and settling into fine lines or pores.
Rose Oil Blend
This is another product that I haven’t given a try yet since product’s that have ‘oil’ in their name kinda scare me a little because of my skin type. BUT I am planning on using it soon, probably before I go to bed so all the different oils can really get into my skin overnight.
What does it do exactly → this botanical blend is infused with a powerful complex of youth-preserving oils (sweet almond, rosehip, jojoba, pomegranate seed, and rose geranium)to help improve skin’s elasticity and glow.
Rose Tonic
This tonic works its magic just like the Glow Tonic. It will clean your skin better than a cleanser, that’s all I can say. Super easy to apply, smells great and gives your skin a nice feel.
What does it do exactly → naturally soothing and rich in nutrients, this tonic helps to tone, balance pH, minimize redness and calm skin.
Rose Glow Mist
The last product of the package and I also did not try this one yet, for the same reason as before; it contains a lot of oil. I am still willing to give it a try because I’m intrigued by those setting/glow mist products and I just love the way it smells.
What does it do exactly → packed with 7 flower oils, essential fatty acids and antioxidants, this dual-phase elixir leaves skin with a natural glow. It moisturizes the skin, improves elasticity and provides free radical protection.
Eye Reflections Shadow Palette
Last but not least, was this amazing eyeshadow kit called ‘Eye Reflections Shadow Palette’. As you can see it are two eyeshadow palettes and a brush set. The colors of those palettes could not have been any better for me since I love the natural make-up look, especially when it comes to my eyes. I might love to wear a bold lipstick but I always love to match it with a softer eye look. The great thing about these eyeshadows is that they are super pigmented and feel really soft and silky. You can create both day and evening looks with these palettes.

I’m sad that I never really heard of this brand, because almost all of these looks so exciting!
I have to go get the glow tonic, I think it would work wonders on my skin! 🙂
