The off-shoulder / cold shoulder trend ♥

Hi sweeties,

All of you who are following me on Instagram know that I LOVE the off-shoulder / cold shoulder trend. I think it’s super stylish and it’s a trend for every body type. I have always been insecure about my body; mostly about the fact that I have quite big shoulders and that I don’t really have hips. And because of that I would almost never wear tops, shirts or dresses without sleeves. But then I saw this trend and I was like: hey, I need to check it out! I feel so much better when I wear something off-shoulder or with a cold shoulder detail because it draws attention to my shoulders in a different way. In this post I’ll be showing you my favorite off-shoulder/cold shoulder dresses and tops.

BARDOT TIERED MIDI DRESS by Lost Ink

I ordered this dress on Zalando. I actually wanted to get this dress at the beginning of the sale but it was sold out immediately. Lucky for me it came back in stock quite fast but now it’s already sold out again. Good news for those who would love to get this dress in black since there are still a couple of sizes left of the black version.

As you can see, this top comes from A’gaci. When I was back in Canada I was searching the whole internet for cute summer tops and that’s when I found this pink one. It actually became my favorite top ever; would you judge me if you knew I just ordered it in 3 more colors?

It’s a super light top, easy to wear normal on jeans or tuck them in your skirt or short (that’s how I mostly wear it).

AX Paris off shoulder top

This cute black top is from the brand AX Paris. I ordered it through the Asos website but it is sold out unfortunately. It’s a very light top and I love that it’s a bit longer, like a regular shirt, which makes it easier to wear on jeans.

Arlene printed maxi dress by A’gaci

This dress is also from A’gaci. It’s my first ever halter dress and I LOVE it. It’s super flowy and the bohemian style and floral print makes it a perfect dress to wear on holiday. It is a maxi dress, but since I am only 1m63 and it still does not reach the ground when I wear it, it should fit you even if you’re shorter than me.

NAF NAF Lidehli short dress

This dress is from the French brand NAF NAF. I am so happy that I found this dress on sale cause the regular price is quite high, € 89,95 (yup, I don’t like spending a lot of money). What I love about this dress is the cute details at the bottom and the belt. It’s super easy to create a nice waistline with it. I do have to admit, I kinda felt like Reese Witherspoon in Legally Blonde while wearing this dress, but hey, it doesn’t matter what other people’s opinions are, if I like it, I’ll wear it!

RUFFLE BUST AND HEM maxi dress by Lost Ink

( Instagram picture coming soon)

I know, another dress from Lost Ink. On my Instagram stories poll there were quite a lot of people who didn’t really like this dress, but guess what? I kept it, lol. I couldn’t find a nice maxi dress that would suit me well until I saw this one. Yes, the fit is a bit baggy but nothing can be solved with a nice belt.

Ruffle bust and hem maxi dress – € 40.95

I do have some other dresses, jumpsuits and tops but I wasn’t able to link them for you guys. Check them out as well if you want:

Floral cold shoulder top by Tommy Hilfiger – bought in the McArthur Glen Outlet in Vancouver.

Off-shoulder, wide legged jumpsuit from Vero Moda – bought in China last year
