Hi sweeties,
I’m sure you’ve seen it too; spring is in town! It was a sunny day in Vancouver (probably the last one for a while ) so we decided to go out. Today was the last day of the 5-day Play-dome in BC Place so that’s where we went first. Not that we were planning on going on any of the rides but hey, who needs more than cotton candy and candy apples?
After our short visit to the Play-dome we realised that it was time to go grab something to eat and so we continued our walk to the Baggio Gelateria & Pizzeria at the Marinaside Crescent in Yaletown. This restaurant is probably one of my favourites in Vancouver since it’s located near the water and the food is actually really nice. And you’re probably wondering what we ate? Well, no surprise, I went for the pizza margherita and Aly choose the penne parmiggiano. We had such a lovely lunch on their terrace. Make sure to pay them a visit when in Vancouver.
When our bellies were full with yummy food we continued our walk home, but not without stopping by some beautiful cherry blossom trees. Since the weather is improving I’m sure we’ll see them a lot more in the next few days/weeks.
And never forget: a flower does not think of competing with the flower next to it. It just blooms.
XOXO
